Richard Chinn
Richard was born in Jellico, TN and moved to Oak Ridge in 1968. In 1973, after several years in the auto body business, Richard and wife Shirley started into the commercial real estate industry. In 1991 real estate became their full time commitment. Richard has a license in general construction and has designed and built over 600,000 square feet of office space in Oak Ridge. Richard oversees all of the new construction and tenant finishes for the business.

Shirley Chinn
Behind every successful business you will find a financial manager. Shirley, who was born in Williamsburg, KY, fills this role by overseeing the entire accounting services of R & R. Working with Richard, Shirley compliments Richard’s vast knowledge of construction by structuring the physical and financial growth of the company. Shirley and Richard make a dynamic team who together has created a premier company in Oak Ridge. They have made a tremendous contribution to the building landscape of Oak Ridge, TN.

Richard Chinn, Jr.
Rick Chinn, Jr. was born and grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1992. He also received his general contractor's license in 1999 and his affiliate broker's license in 2001 from the State of Tennessee. He and his wife Heather were married in 1992 and have four children. Rick has served local boards and commissions including Chairman of Oak Ridge Economic Partnership, Chairman of the New Century Alliance, Vice Chairman of the Oak Ridge Industrial Development Board, elected Vice Chair of the City of Oak Ridge Charter Commission by the voters of Oak Ridge, and a board member of the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, the Melton Hill Regional Development Association and the St. Mary's School. Rick was nominated as a finalist for the Young Entrepreneur Award by the Knoxville Area Partnership in 2006. He has also served on the board of the East Tennessee Chapter of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters and has worked closely with the Montessori Center of Oak Ridge, the Boy Scouts and Children's Museum of Oak Ridge in fund raising and special projects. Rick's roles at R & R Properties include lease negotiation, space planning, public relations and community outreach.

Ryan Chinn
Ryan has been with R&R since 2000. In his seven years with the company, he played an integral role in the development of five commercial complexes. The construction of these building’s more than doubled the size of the R & R Portfolio. He also works closely with the property management sector of the company. Ryan is a 1997 graduate from The University of Tennessee and recently received his Masters Degree in Real Estate from New York University. Shortly after completing his undergraduate degree, Ryan spent two years working as an assistant property manager for a national real estate investment trust.

Linda Redmond, CPM®
Property Manager
Linda was hired in January 2007 to manage the R & R Portfolio of over 600,000 square feet of commercial property in Oak Ridge. She brings over 20 years of property management experience to our company. Linda was recently awarded her CPM® designation by the Institute of Real Estate Management. This is awarded to real estate manager’s who have met the Institute’s rigorous requirements in the areas of professional education, examination and experience. She is the current President of BOMA Greater Knoxville. (Building Owners Managers Association). She is the immediate past co-chair for the Fantasy of Trees, a benefit for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. She has been an affiliate broker since 1992.
